ねえ。僕は常時に漫画ペーパーB4かA4の紙に漫画を描きますよ。

Hey there. I usually draw manga on B4 Manga paper or A4 Paper.

そして、鉛筆かシャープペンシルと漫画ペンとペン先を使っています。

And I use either ordinary pencil or mech. pencil and manga pen with pen nibs.

でも、今度、マックブック・プロにあるフォトショップとバンブー・タブレットを使って、漫画を描いて運試しします。

But this time, I'll try drawing manga with the Bamboo Tablet on Photoshop which is on the Macbook Pro. 

ステップ１：

Step 1:

ニューレイヤーに暖色でラフ・スケッチを描きました。

I drew a rough sketch on a new layer.

常時、A4紙かB4漫画ペーパーに鉛筆かシャープペンシルでラフ・スケッチを描いています。

Usually I use an ordinary pencil or a mech. pencil to draw rough sketches on A4 paper or B4 Manga Paper.

ステップ２：

Step 2:

レイヤー２に黒いのでラインアートを描きました。

I used Black to draw the line art on Layer 2.

常時、漫画ペンとペン先と黒いインクでラインアートを描きました。

Usually I draw the line art with manga pen and the pen nibs and black ink.

ステップ３：

Step 3:

ラフ・スケッチのレイヤーを外しました。

I've removed the rough sketch layer.

常時、消しゴムでラフ・スケッチを消します。

Usually I use an eraser to erase the rough sketch.

ステップ４：

Step 4:

ちゃちゃ〜〜！！

Tah Daaaaaaah!!

フォトショップでスクリーントーンを入れました。

I've inserted the screen tones with Photoshop.

常時、本物のスクリーントーンを使いますよ。でも、本物のスクリーントーンは買えば、買うほど高くなりますよ。

Usually, I use real screen tones. But the more you buy real screen tones, the more expensive it gets.

僕にA4紙かB4漫画ペーパーに漫画を描くのほうがまだいいと思いますよ。そして、スキャナーで僕が描いた漫画をパソコンに入れます。

To me, I still prefer drawing manga on A4 paper or B4 Manga paper. And then I use the scanner to insert my manga drawings into the PC.

僕にそのほうが簡単です。

It's simpler for me that way.

だから、誠に、僕はオールド・スクールの漫画家でしょう。

Therefore, to be honest, I'm probably sort of an old school Manga artist.

僕はオールド・スクール漫画家でも、もちろん、フォトショップで色かスクリーントーンの仕事をしたいです。

I may be an old school Manga artist but, of course I like to do coloring or screen tone works with the Photoshop.

それから、僕は去年の終わりから、マックブック・プロを使っています。

That's why I've been using the Macbook Pro since the End of Last Year.

でも、２００９年１月から、自分のマックブック・プロに名前をあげました。だから、彼女の名前は「まゆこ」です。

But from January 2009, I gave my Macbook Pro a name. Therefore, her name is 'Mayuko'.
